TAKING A CHANGE ON A “DARK HORSE.” The knowledge that a certain boxer in a coming tournament was something of a “dark horse” brought about the downfall of Arthur Ckote, one bright day in August.Charged before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M. at the 1* aimers tun N. Magistrate’s Court yesterday, with carrying on the business or occupation of a bookmaker on August 2d last, Ckote pleaded guilty. .... . ....
