FOXTON BACHELORS' BALL.

The above ball, which takes place on Thursday, 23rd inst., is to be one of the hugest social functions yet held in Foxton. Larkin’s Elite Orchestra (seven musicians)'will be in attendance, while extras will be supplied by the Jazzmanians, of Levin. The hall will present a magnificent aspect. A special rotunda, is to be built in the centre of the dancing space for the orchestra. The hall will be decorated in black and white (the bachelors’ colours) and Native ferns. Special orange shaded lights will add much beauty to the 'whole scene. The programme, which in eitides a Storm Waltz and Blues, is most up-to-date. The catering is in the capable hands of Mr J. Walls, so patrons will be favoured by the best catering in the district. No invitations have been sent out locally as everybody in Foxton is welcome. A large number of replies from outside have been received and a record attendance is anticipated.
