ROYAL PICTURES. At the Royal Theatre, to-night pa Irons will have the opportunity of witnessing Thomas IT. luce’s line production entitled “Her Reputation.” This picture is from the novel by Talbot. Mundy and Bradley King and was directed by John Griffith Wray. It is a First National attraction, starring May McAvoy, Lloyd Hughes and Winter Hall. It is a picture full of interest and solves the problem of can the victim of scandal come back? See young love’s dramatic triumph over sensationalism. The thrilling battle between truth and printer's ink. On Aloud ay night “Nauook of the North” will be screened. Nanook is the hero of the story and is a real-life hero. He is chief of the
“Itivimuits,” and famous through all Ungava as a great hunter. The score or so of native families constituting the tribe arc peculiarly isolated and therefore faithful to their racial traditions and mode of life, and entirely independent of civilisation. “Nauook of the North” will prove a highly interesting picture.
BIG SEA AIELODRAALA AT THE TOWN HALL.
“Over the Hill,” “Silver Wings,” and “The Town that Forgot God” have made the name of Fox famous as a producer of big melodramas. "Hoodman Blind,” the latest success. should add still further to the Fox reputation. “Hoodman Blind” is (lie story of a man who, mistaking his unknown sister-in-law for bis wife, accuses the latter of infidelity, deserts tier and nearly wrecks three lives. Among the biggest scenes are the storm at sea, the shipwreck, and the re's cues carried out by means of rockets and the breeches buoy. Comedy support will tm lent bv “Chickens a ha Cabaret.” whilst the laiest News adds still more variety to a notable programme to be offered at usual prices. The famous Sinclair Lewis story, “Main Street,” heads the bill at the Town Hall on Alonday. to this fine film of characters met in all small town Alain Streets, the big cast includes Monte Blue, Florence Vidor, Harry Alyers, Louise Fazenda, Noah Beery and Robert Gordon. This film is to be screened with a full supporting programme at usual prices.
