A meeting of delegates representingl loeal cheese factories passed a motion in favour of erecting a butter factory in Carterton. A new company, to lie known as the Wairorapa Federal Dairies, Limited, is to be formed, with a nominal capital of £IO,OOO, in shares of £l. A portion of the capital has been subscribed and board of provisional directors was set up.
