The Citizens’ Committee met last evening and put in a nomination tor the position as Queen. •* * * A Baud is a vital necessity in the life of the community, and the Citizens should receive a strong following. Si * * The date of the Queens’ Introduction and Opening Ceremony has been fixed for Friday, October 24th. Queen Committees are reminded that they can busy themselves drawing up their programmes in readiness to commence their campaign immedi-ately-after the Introduction Ceremony. * * * All proceeds of the Opening Ceremony will he divided equally amongst all Queens. *’ * * Full particulars of nominations received, together with the Queen’s colour and her speaker for the Opening evning will he published in the “Herald’’ on Saturday next. * * * Oct busy, Queens’ Opening Ceremom- Friday, October 24th.
