On Saturday last the Fox lon Rugby Longue Senior team journeyed to Shannon where they played the newly formed Shannon Rugby League team. The game was played on the Domain in heavy rain. In the second spell play improved, both teams indulging in good passing bouts in spite of the greasy ball. In this spell O’Reilly scored from a fast follow-up and Kirkland crossed for the second time. The latter player failed at both attempts at conversion.
