Ltd) the following - latest magazines.— Weldon’s Ladies’ Journal. —The October number contains gratis pattern to make a smart tailored coat and skirt. Given away with this number is an eight page supplement of babies’ woollies in knitting and crochet. This number contains all (be latest information so dear to womenfolk and is really an excellent, number. Cassell’s Magazine. —The August issue is a special holiday fiction number. A splendid new complete story entitled “Delilah Daring” by Grenfille Hammerfon is of particular merit. Other stories are by lichen Bachman, Edward Woodward, E. Newton Dingey and others. A very line magazine. Weldon's Bazaar of Children's fashions. —The October number of this review contains gratis patterns of two frocks, a coat for boy or girl; girl’s bodice and knickers. Notes are also given on the coming fashions by the Editress. Charming new millinery is described as well as needle work and other things too numerous to here mention. This is a magazine that should find a place it, every mother’s home as it teems with useful information. “The Young New Zealander.” — This is a new publication and is a clean and wholesome periodical for young folks. It is specially written for pupils of primary and secondary schools in the Dominion and it provides a galaxy of fun and story lore beloved of children from fairies to natural history from sport to stately literature, from riddles to the story of Captain Cook, from merry rhymes and jokes to “Why Burning Wood Crackles.” Parents! You must buy your child a copy of “The Young New Zealander.”
