Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated Kith September, 1924: —“The auctions opened here to-day with a laige attendance of buyers. Competition is keen. Compared with the dosing rates of the last sales, we quote: — Creasy Merino, best, 3d to 4d per lb dearer; Greasy Merino, average, 3d to 4d per lb dearer; Halfbreds, 30/50’s, 2Ad per lb dearer; Crossbred 48/50’s 3d to 4d per lb dearer; Crossbred 4<5/4S’s 24(1 per lb dearer; Crossbred 44/40’s 2id per lb dearer; 40/44’s Id to 2d per lb dearer; Crossbred 36/40’s Id to 2d per lb dearer; Slipe Wool 74 per cent per lb dearer. "
