“ALADDIN” PANTOMIME.
A MOST PRETENTIOUS PRODUCTION. PUIJ, OR OD E-STR A A CCOMPANIMENT. The incidental music and accompaniments of the various musical items in the forthcoming pantomime will be provided by an orchestra comprising three of (he tinest instrumentalists in Eoxton, and some -very beautiful music may be expected in I lie various enlreacls. The lirsi full rehearsal at which the ballet were tried in conjunction with the principals was held in the Town Hall last night, and a- local resident, who is in the position to criticise, who witnessed the rehearsal, said ilia! he was surprised at the wonderful results attained over such a short period. Undoubtedly, this pantomime will lie the best yet produced in Eoxton, both from an artistic, musical and humorous point of view. The story progresses in a tuneful and highly amusing way to its ultimate finale, the marriage of Aladdin (Winifred La France) to lbe Princess Badroulbadour (Doris Morgan). The cave scene in which Aladdin secures the wondrous lamp will he absolutely astounding and on a scale never attempted even by ihe best professionals. Mr Sinclair will present another “local find” under the nom de plume of “The Human Spider,” a child who will astound the audience with some wonderl'u feats of contortion. For the time being her name must remain a mystery. Watch this space for further announcements and be wise and book your seat.
