HOROWHENUA RUGBY UNION.
The weekly meeting of the above was held in Levin on Tuesday evening, Mr J. Rimmer occupying the chair. Also present were Messrs S. Austin. Robinson. Hutchins, O’Conr.or and the secretary. Mr L. Carmichael. On the motion of Mr Rimmer, seconded by Mr Robinson, it was decided that the making of arrangements for the King Country Rep. match to be played at Otaki on Wednesday, September 24tli, be left in the hands of the secretary. The gate receipts of the Taihape game at Shannon were received, this amounting to £l2 8/-, According to arrangements 50 per cent, gross was forwarded to the Taihape Fiiion. JUNIOR- REP. GAME FOR FOXTOX. Tt was arranged I hat the Horowhenna Manawatn Junior rep. game be played at Foxtail on September 13. the dale fixed for the Manawa-iii-Tforowliciiua senior rep. game in 1 aliia rsion X., to which the referees of both unions will play a curtainraiser.
