Night, in response to a resolution passed at a recent meeting of the Dom inion Farmers' Union, urging the Railway j6epal'lmeut to accept liability in ease of loss or damage to goods loaded by consumers at officered stations, the Minister says that in such cases the Department was unable to agree to accept liability.
