SHOOTING ACCIDENT.
Whakatane, August 18. • A hov named Theobold, 18 years of age, was wounded with a shot gun yesterday morning at Manawahe. Tie was out pig hunting with his father when the latter slipped, the gun in his hand going off and peppering his son, who was wounded in both thighs. He had to be brought to the Whakatane hospital where it was found that the injuries were not serious.
