She was only a waif, cast by accident in with a hunch of crooks and gem smugglers. Before she was with them very long they were responding to her every whim, with the kiddie-cars and other toys. “The Darling of New York" is an original story, written especially by King Baggot, who directed the picture and Raymond L. •Sbrock of the Universal scenario department. Among tile principal players in the cast . are Gladys Jiroekwcll, Sheldon Lewis, Pat Ilarligan, Frank Currier and Max Da\id son and others of equal-note. Don’t forget, to-morrow night is Cabaret night.
