1 Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the Bth August, 1924: — “Quotations ex-store. New Zealand prime Canterbury lamb, 28/ 42’s 11 5-10 d; North Island lamb, 28/42’s, llfd; prime Canterbury mutton, 56/64’s, 7ifd; North Island mutton, 56/64’s 7Jd; ewes 48/04’s GJd; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220’s, hinds: none offeiing; do., fores, none offering.” As compared with last week’s quotations, Canterbury lamb is l-16d per lb. dearer, North Island lamb id per It), dearer, mutton id per lb. dearer, and ewes gd per lb. carer.
