FAREWELL AND PRESENTATION.

Despite the inclement weather, there was a large and representative gathering in the Aloutoa Hail on Friday evening last to do honour to Miss Piggott, who is shortly to* be married. During the evening Mr Smith, on behalf of the'Moutoa Hall Committee,'of which‘Miss Piggott has'been an active member, and on’behalf' of Moutoa and Marotirn residents, presented the guest of the, evening with a handsome dinner service. Mr Maunder suitably replied on behalf of Miss Piggott. The company danced until an early'hour the-following morning. Mr Dave Prentiee provided the-music.
