An instance of the menu nee of driving stock along the main road at Frankton was given recently, when seven Hereford bullocks from a herd being driven along Commerce street broke away and charged through the shop of Messrs Menzics and Gallop, auctioneers, knocking down and smashing u large duchess chest (says an exchange). There was a great deal of crockery in the shop, hut this was not damaged.
