FLOCK HOUSE.
OFFICIAL OPENING. The hostel tit Flock House will be opened to-morrow by His Exeellenev the Governor-General. The secretary of the Fund (Air E. P,. Wat-on) informed a pressman that beyond a slight symptom of home-sickness, the 25 boys who rocentlv arrived from England, and who have taken up their residence at Flock House, appeared to be very 1 1 uppv in their work. Everything we being carried out on systematic lit; cs and although the present curriculum was confined io practical ele mcti I a ry farm work, it was hoped to establish technical classes in ih.i,cur future. Some of the boys had been placed on afforestation work, ,itliers oil carpentering, fencing and different branches of outside toil, rthile a ipetent sportsmnster attended to their physical recreation. It i- expected that the next party , hoy- for Flock House will ar•ive about the end of August.
