RECORD FROST AT CHRISTCHURCH.

Christchurch, July 9.

It was colder than ever this morning. Most housewives found the water pipes frozen and there was ice in Die side channels. The frost recorded was J 0.3 degrees, which is a record for the last three years. Victoria Lake in iiagley Park was frozen over with the exception of a small patch in the centre.
