ATTEMPTED MURDER.

YOUNG HUSBAND’S INSANE ACT Auckland, July 1. At the Police Court to-day John Edward Jenkinson, aged 22, was charged with having attempted to murder his wife causing actual bodily harm by cutting her throat with a razor. Sergeaui Rawle said that he understood the wife’s condition was not very serious. it was alleged that she was with her child when Jenkinson slashed her throat with a razor. Accused was of a violent nature.

The second charge was withdrawn and on the other accused was remanded to July .8, without bail.
