MISTAKEN IDENTITY.
Auckland, July 2. On March 28th, a man known as Patrick lv’van was killed in a motor accident at Penrose. He was identified and buried under that name. The police have since ascertained that the man's name was Patrick Joseph Doherty. The inquest was re-opened today and after hearing evidence the Coroner said there was no doubt of deceased's identity. The depositions ..-ere amended accordingly.
