S.M. COURT
QUARTERLY RETURNS
The quarterly returns for the period ended June 30, of business done in connection with the local S.M. Court show that there were nine sittings, throe presided over by flie S.M. and six by Justices. The total amount sued for was £287 Is, of which £220 6/7 was recovered. Thirty-three plaints were entered, of which 20 were adjudicated upon. Fifty-four males and five females were summoned or apprehended and three old age pensions were granted.
