LONDON FROZEN MEAT MARKET.
Alessrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 27th June, 1924: — 'limitations ex store: —New Zealand piruue' Canterbury lamb, 28/42’s' 10id; North Island iamb, 28/42’s, iUsd; prime Canterbury mutton, s(j/64’s 7d; North Island mutton, 56/o‘4’s, did; Ewes, 5Jd; New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds; none offering; do., fores, none offering.”
As compared with last week’s quotations, North island mutton is sd cheaper. The market for lamb is firm, but quiet and mutton is also quiet with little inquiry.
