RECKLESS YOUTH.
WANTED ON CHARGE OF MAN-
SLAUGHTER. Auckland June 19. The disappearance of a sixteen-year-old hoy, against whom a charge of manslaughter has been made out, wa.s mentioned al the Police Court. It was stated that the boy was in charge of a motor which collided with and fatally injured a widow named Mrs Kate Dowding in Karangahape Road on May 17. A charge of driving a ear without a license, of negligently driving the .ear, and of failing after the accident, to stop and give his name and address was also preferred. The Magistrate issued a warrant for the boy’s arrest but his name was suppressed. J
