KELVIN MATERNITY HOME.
ANOTHER. CASE OF SEPTICAEMIA. Auckland, Last, Night. The Kelvin maternity home was again closed by the Health Department owing to the discovery of a case which has been diagnosed as puerperal septicaemia. The patient has been removed to the Auckland hospital and is reported to be doing well. Tt is understood there were no other patients in the home at: the time. The assistant medical officer at Auckland, Dr. J. Boyd, states that the home was closed on Tuesday, and the Deparlmenl is taking all precautions. A case of puerperal septicaemia a.t Kelvin last year resulted in the institution being closed until the end of January last. A Royal Omission of which Air F. Earl, K.C. was chairman, held an exhaustive inquiry into I lie occurrences. ✓
