Auckland, June 13
The local Licensing Committee refused to grant a renewal of the li- < ease of the Hibernian Hotel, Oneliunga. to F. C. Bass. Counsel for the licensee then iulimnted that he would move for a mandamus to have the case removed tu the Supreme Court to over rule the committee’s action.
Mr Bass lias now taken preliminary steps towards an action lor damages claiming £2OO from each member of the committee, excepting Mr McKean, S.M.. the chairman, who was not present at Monday’s meeting.
