FACTORY CLOTHES AS TAILORMADE. MINISTER MUST PROTECT PUBLIC. Auckland, Last Night. A deputation from the combined tailoring trade has interviewed the Hon. W. Anderson, urging legislation to prevent the sale of factorymade suits as tailor-made. The un- -- ions secretary, Mr'Morgan, said he thought -fifty per cent, or the suits soi<} a* tailor made were made in factories. Mr Anderson said he intended to do ’something in the matter in the coming session and would confer with '■ the parties interested on his return to Wellington. He must protect the public as well as those engaged in the clothing trade.
