THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day: — indications arc for easterly winds moderate to strong, and backing by north to west. The weather appeal’s likely to be cloudy and unsettled; ruin probable. The night will probably! be very cold. The barometer has a falling- tendency, but rising after about 3b hours. Seas moderate, tides poor.
