“THE MADNESS OF YOUTH.”

“The Madness of Youth,” a production starring the famous John Gilbert, will be shown at the Town Hall on Saturday night. It dramatically tells the story of a clever thief who entered a millionaire's house to steal jewels, but fell in love with the old man’s frivolous daughter. Supporting films on Saturday night are also strong, most notable being a special two-reel comedy, “The Eskimo,” in which the favourite, comedian Clyde Cook is seen in some very novel and amusing action. Prices as usual. On Monday evening the D. W. Griffith masterpiece “The Fall of Babylon,” will be shown. The picture is a purple romance of a bygone day; the story of a lovable mountain girl who adored a king. Cast includes Constance Talmadge, Elmo Lincoln, Mildred Harris and Pauline Starke. Usual prices wifi be charged for this attraction. Pola Negri in “The Cheat,” and Gladys Cooper in “The Bohemian Girl” are due at the Town Hall shortly.

ROYAL PICTURES. “Sherlock Brown” the feature picture to be starred at the Royal Theatre to-morrow night is a delightful comedy-drama about an amateur sleuth whose hero is the famous Sherlock Holmes, and whose day dreams are filled with visions of his own accomplishments in running down criminals. Bert Lytell reveals himself in this picture as a really clover comedian and there arc no dull moments from start to finish. This picture 'can be safely recommended to ail those who like a plentiful amount of humour together with considerable excitement. “Sherlock Brown” is a Bayard Veilier production for Metro, adapted from the screen by Lenore Coffee iirom a story by Mi’ Veiller. The Royal has some big attractions listed for the near future and patrons should watch out for these. Last njghl was the opening night of the cabaret at lire Royal Theatre and patrons proclaimed the evening “a howling success.” Cabaret every Wednesday evening until 1U.30. The lloor is now in excellent condition.
