FILTHY LANGUAGE.
(To The Editor.) Sir.—[ desire to publicly draw the attention of the police and Chamber of Commerce to the filthy language used by idle men who hang around verandah posts and loiter in street gutters. The language vomited by those idlers is very offensive to the ears of shoppers, who as a protest, may prefer to shop by mail elsewhere.—T am, etc. A CLEAN TONGUE.
