LONDON FROZEN MEAT MARKET.
Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 25th April, 1924. “Quotations ex store. New Zealand prime Canterbury lamb, 28/ 42’s 10,)d; North Island lamb, 28/ i2's Hid; prime Canterbury mutton s(i/64’s G»d. North Island mutton, 50/04’s 0“d; ewes. 48/64’s old; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/ 220’s hinds none offering; do., fores, do.” The mutton market is lower and likely to decline further. Lamb is firm and likely to advance. As compared with last week’s quotation, Canterbury lamb is jd dearer North Island lamb id dearer, and mutton and ewes id cheaper.
