GIRL DWARF MARVEL.
A sensation lias been caused in medical circles in Madrid by a marvelous operation which has turned a terribly deformed and almost inhuman girl dwarf into a fully developed and normal woman. It was performed by Dr. Francisco E. Ortega, of Dijon, .who claims that he has solved the problem which has baffled Dr. Voronof. Dr. Ortega claims that be lias discovered nol only how to rejuvenate abnormal women, but how to rejuvenate normal elderly women. The operation wase arried out on an 18-year-old girl. Her height was 2ft. lOin., and she was deformed out of all semblance of girlhood. Human intelligence and feelings were lacking. Dr. Ortega grafted certain glands from a sheep six months ago. The girl has now become normal. Extraordinary physical growth has taken place. The skin has become fine and delicate. Deforma tives have vanished. Intelligence has a-, wakened. Dr. Ortega is about to publish a book about the ease and his methods.
