CROQUET NOTES.
The results of the Twenty Minutes Tournament played on the local green last Wednesday, are as follows :
Mrs Pearson 4, Mrs McMurray 4, Airs Parkes 34, Mrs Head 34, Mrs Ball 3, Airs Huntley 3, Mrs Moore 3, Mrs Barr 2, Mis Banks 2, Mrs J. Downes 14, Mrs Bryant 14. On Tuesday last some of our members visited Levin to play for the Pollock Stars, but were unsuccessful in wresting them from the holders, the result being as follows: Airs Kirk and Mrs Whittaker 26, Airs Perreau and Aliss B. Speirs 14.
