SERIOUS MOTOR ACCIDENT.

Nelson, April 11. A serious motor accident occurred in Trafalgar street south last evening. A ear driven by Norman Cameron, who was conveying a number of young ladies home after a sewing lesson, got out of control coming down College Hill and crashed into an electric light pole. Gwen Penny, daughter of Mr W. J. Penny, sustained a broken jaw, a broken arm and other serious injuries to the head and body. Her condition is critical. The other occupants were not seriously injured.
