The annual general meeting of 1 Ih- above wus held in Levin nil Tuesday night. the president. Afr E. Nash, being in flip chair. The following clubs wore represented Shannon, Y\ nnderers, Awahoii, ITui M.'ii, Weraroa. Parnparauniu. Kupntaroa. Ofaki, Mnulnn, Tokomaru. Mirunui, Rovers. Raimi. To Horn, Fox-fun. L.D.TT. school.

“Football was very strong in the ( nion last year. 32 teams having been pilfered, made up of six senior teams, nine junior (earns and nine third-grade, the remainder being selmo] teams.

Decided that it be a recommendation to the Rugby Onion that there be equal representation from the ITorowhenua. Wellington, Manawatn ti ltd Bush Union in picking- the team for the North v. South Island inn teh this season. Deeided that move should he done to foster the junior rep. teams in tin district. Decided that it he a recommendation to (he Management Committee that the competition games he started as soon as possible. It was agreed that the Management Committee meet each Tuesday and that all important business be tabled one week prvious to the meeting when possible. The secretary and treasurer were given power to operate on the hank account. A. hearty vote of thanks to the past officers of the Union and to the chair, concluded the meeting.
