LN AUG URAL MEETING

RACECOURSE, NEXT WEDNESDAY. Vv hat promises to be the biggest and moot attractive sports gathering yet beid m Foxtou will take place on the iucul racecourse on \\ eduesday next. The programme contains atJieletic, cycling, horse and wont.l-chopping events, interspersed with children's races and other novel items, The nominations indicate good etries in every event and the public will be afforded, an opportunity of seeing some of the best athletes in the district competing, the entries in the horse events are excellent as are also the wood-chop-ping events. The officials and committee have so arranged things that there will not be a dull moment throughout. The iirst event will take place at IT a.m. The Citizens' Band will discourse music at intervals during the day. The catering arrangements are in the hands of Mr AL E. Perreau, which is a guarantee of satisfaction. A general local holiday will be observed. LIST OF DONATIONS.

AL ParJkes, 1 medal; AL- Winstauley 100 Hour; AH' lvirkiaud, Ist prize for horse event. THE DANCE. Ihe days outing will conclude with a dance in the Masonic Hall in the evening. Excellent music and catering. Admission: double ticket 5/-, single 3/6, 2/6.
