The .Mayor (Air-J. Chryslall) presided over a public meeting last night to further the Band carnival. Air Madden .submitted a statement showing the hand's indebtedness and i equirements. Mr -J. Mr Colder explained in reference lo the above that lit- paid the deposit mi llie instruments lo ensure the formation of the hand and to provide music for the citizens and to benetit charitable and oilier deserving objects.
