Considerable interest was taken at Taurunga in a poll for the adoption of rating on unimproved values. The pole resulted: For 295, against, 282: iniormal tour. the proposal was thus carried b,y thirteen votes. A poll was taken in October. 1920, when the proposal was rejected by 148 votes.
