LORD JELLICOE.
TO LEAVE NEW ZEALAND THTS YEAR. The Prime Minister stated on Saturday that, on behalf of the Government, he had asked His Excellency the Govern or-General to lomain in New Zealand for another year following the nominal expiry of his term of office in September next.
Lord Jellieoe replied that much as he would like to stay from certain points of view it would he unfair to the members of his family to do so. This is generally construed I i mean that Lord Jellieoe is considering the education of his children all but. one of whom are of school age.
