FASHION NOTES.

With the coming of the crisp cool nays of autumn one naturally begins to think of fresh raiment. The C. M. Ross Co. is the store for value where women will find their needs fulfilled to a nicety. These goods were, as it happens, specially chosen by one of the firm’s departmental heads (Palmerston N.) who has only just returned from a special buying mission to the European centres. Sheeny silks, handsome artificial silk brocades, the newest for the tops of three-piece costumes, maroeains and exclusive skirtings, and goods far too numerous to enumerate here. The autumn display begins to-morrow.
