THREE MONTHS GAOL FOR ASSULT AND OBSCENE LANGUAGE.
Blonheim, March 7. Herbert James Grieg (aged 28) was sentenced by Justices to-day to three months’ gaol without the option of a fine lor using obscene language on the railway platform at Blenheim in the presence of a large crowd, including women and children. lie was also convicted lor assaulting the arresting constable William O'Dwyer and w T us lined £lO for obstructing the constable.
