RIFLE SHOOTING.
The final shoot for Air Admore's trophy was held last Saturday. Conditions were fairly good for shooting. A. Barnard and J. Hartley both secured possibles. They are to be congratulated on their excellent shooting. The following are the scores: —
A Barnard 50, J. Hartley 50, S. Head 41, (6) 47: W. Svmonds 41 (6). 47; A. Adinore 36 (111 47; C. Rand 36 (10) 46; Cadet; Admore 37 Cadet Clirystnil 33, Cadet Delanv 32 Cadet Head 31, Cadet Tver 23, Cadet Hartley 21.
Mr Admore’s trophy was won by Mr A. Barnard with 50, 48, total 98, J. Hartley being second with 50, 47 total 97.
The first ilhoot for Collinsori and Son’s trophy will be held next Saturday at 500 yards range. The Club members are very pleased to see the cadets corning out to the range every Saturday and would he pleased to see any more young lads who would like to learn the art of shpoting. The shooting done by the cadets is very creditable for the time they have been using the rifle.
