it is probable that hvc rinks from
Poxton Hub will visit perilling tomorrow. So far, four rinks are complete, and members desiring to make tne trip, and who have not already handed in their names should do so without delay. The conveyance will leave the green al one o’clock sharp to morrow. The Mauawatu Centre champion of champions singles contest was won by Eckersley (Mauawatu), Ingram (Eeildnig) being runner-up. A rink from the Eketahuna Bowling Club: Stenberg, Hannah, Meads McKenzie (s) —won the Manson and Barr Cup from Bowling, Wilton, Wilson and Trott (s), of the Palmerston North Club, on Saturday af tenioou. The match was played on tne Palmerston North green. The Eketahuna team lead until the lb th head when Trott drew level — 15 all. The visitors, however, again took the lead, scoring six Joints on two of the remaining heads, while Trott gained a single on the other, the final score being: Eketahuna 21, Palmerston North 16.
