Invercargill, Last Night.
A lire on Sunday morning destroyed Jopp’s ltoyal Oak Hotel, Arrowtown and the shops of Messrs f. Ure, tobacconist and H. Bruce, draper. The adjacent buildings, though scorched and blistered were saved. The insurances are: On the Oak Hotel, £1,5011} Mr Ure’s shop £225) Mi - Bruce’s £559. Mr Jopp estimates his loss at £IOOO.
