THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 23rd. inst., reads: “Hemp, Manila market, is active, with good demand and business fairly large. ‘.P grade sold afloat and February - April shipments at £37 10/- to £3B 10/- and values. New Zealand market quiet, sales of fail- grade for early shipment are reported at £34 10/-. Quotations are: Highpoints £3O 10/-, and fair £34 10s.”
