PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the Sofioty was hold on Monday last, Mrs F. Robinson presiding. Apologies wore received from Mrs AnstinJolmston (President), and Mrs MeMurrav (lion. Seeretary).
The Secretary's report; showed that since last meeting a dance in aid of the funds had been held in (lie Masonic Hall, which brought in 4s Id. The Beach shop day held on January ‘2fith brought in £5 Its 7,1. with several cash donations still to come in.
The Nurse's report for the quarter ending January 31st. showed that the Nurse paid 14 visits to Foxton: visits to homes. 27; adults’ visits to office, 120; babies receiving attention, 130; total, 256. New cases, 5. Letters and cards posted, 14.
The annual meeting of the Society was fixed for the second Monday in March, at the Blanket Room. The cidlection box yielded 5s 9d.
