Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents dated 12th February, 1924: — “Wool sales have closed with a good tone. The market has been slightly easier during the last few days. As compared with the closing rates of the last series, Meri.noes are per lb. dearer} halfbred, 50-56’s, 2d per lb. dearer; half-bred, 48-50’s, 3d per lb. dearer; fine cross-bred, 46-48’s, 3d per lb. dearer; medium cross-bred, 44-46’s, 2id per lffi dearer; coarse cross-bred, 40-44’s, 2id per lb. dearer; low cross-bred, 56-40’s, 2d per lb. dearer.
