NARROW ESCAPE.
FIFE AT PUBLIC SCHOOL.
Auckland, Feb. IJ,
Waiuku Central School had a narrow escape from destruction by lire last night. That disaster was averted by the stationmaster discovering a box of rubbish burning by the side of the building, where it had evidently been deliberately placed and set afire. It was extinguished with buckets of water.
