ENGINE DERAILED

MISHAP AT UR.EATFORD,

Palmerston North, January 30 While the Wanganui to Palmerston N. mixed train, due here at 5 p.m., was engaged shuuting at Grealford this afternoon the engine was derailed. Both the north bound Auckland expresses were held up for some time, as were all other trains on that line. The New Plymouth express was nut delayed, it having passed through Greatlord when the mishap occurred. TJie line was cleared early this evening the train reaching Palmerston North four hours overdue.
