A table giving a summary of cargo -hipped from the N.Z. Shipping Co.’.- -tore for 1923, was submitted to Saturday’s meeting of the local Harbour Board.

By rail: Wool 24 tons, hemp 5189 tons, tow 1,850 tons. By steamer: Wool 82 tons, hemp 10,221 tous, tow. 1,842 tons, fallow 71 tons. The totals were: Wool 100. tons, hemp 15.410 bales, low 3092 hales, tallow 71 casks: total 10,279 tons. The above figures do not include hemp railed per Messrs Levin and Co., or wool, tallow and general cargo shipped locally through other sources.
