Morris Bomb, a. former resident of AYhakatane, appeared in the Police Court here yeslerdav on charges of collecting drainage rates from natives and fraudulently omitting to account for same. There were ten informations, the sum of f.'S-l being involved. Accused was arrested at Wellington. Dumb reserved his. defence mid was committed for trial at Auckland.
